Join us for a virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid class on Wednesday, September 30. This is a powerful opportunity to build the skills our communities urgently need. This course is designed specifically for adults who regularly interact with youth and want to better understand how to identify, support, and respond to mental health concerns in adolescents. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognize signs of mental health or substance‑use challenges, respond with confidence, and connect someone to appropriate support. It’s practical, evidence‑based, and immediately useful in both professional and everyday settings.
The cost of this class is $50.

Many in our community rely on food pantries. We learned of one closing however, we wanted to share what's happening with Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency, Inc. at 1118 Tower ave. in the !
NWCSA has been an incredible resource in our community, including a food pantry for nearly 60 years!
We reached out to Millie this morning who was happy to share they are changing/expanding hours to accommodate those from Faith United.
Pantry hours are now Tuesday 1-5 and Thursday 9-11:30.
If you are in need of support, feel free to visit or give them a call.
NWCSA will always accept volunteers and donations, so please keep them in mind.
Please like/follow and share their page so others can learn of their good work and support.

Burnett, Douglas & Washburn Counties 4-H camp was a great success!
Campers enjoyed group games, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing, arts & crafts, woodworking, animal science learning, songs, skits & s’mores at the campfire!
Major thank you goes to the 13 youth counselors and 4 adult chaperones, we couldn’t hold camp without each of you!
A big thank you Head of the Lakes United Way, City of Superior and the Great Northern Classic Rodeo for grant money that provides camp scholarships, bus transportation and funds camp supplies to keep the camp cost low for families.
