Had a fun April Fool day with the kids yesterday. We had chicks for breakfast (hard boiled eggs). Pizza for snack ( strawberry jam with shredded coconut). Cupcakes for lunch ( cornbread muffin with mash potatoes) and French fries and chicken nuggets for snack ( strips of apple and mango and a rice crispy treat).

We had a few hurt feelings but everyone overalled enjoyed the silliness. Lots of giggles!

Breakfast of champions! Eggs are a "superfood" for kids, providing high-quality protein for muscle growth, choline for brain development, and iron for energy.

Hard boiled eggs make a great breakfast item but can also be a great snack!

And if you think, well my kid doesn't like eggs. My oldest loves hers scrambled with bacon, my middle loves hard boiled and my youngest loves them over easy. Its ok for kids to have preferences. We as adults do! It takes a child an average of 15 times of seeing a food before they may try it. Don't give up!
