Do you want to take action for Head Start right now? Here's one way.
The US Department of Health and Human Services proposed major changes to the Head Start Performance Standards - changes that could affect teacher quality, disability services, family engagement, health supports, and more for programs like ours.
Do you disagree with these proposed changes? Together for Head Start has drafted a joint letter urging HHS to withdraw this proposal. Signing takes 2 minutes - staff, parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children currently enrolled in Head Start can add their name by September 25, 2026.
👉 Families and Staff can sign by scanning their respective QR codes!
✅ Your name + state added to the letter
✅ Sent to HHS, Congress, and the press
Sign-on instructions available in English & Spanish.
There are many ways to speak out against these proposed changes. This is one way to take action for Head Start today - stay tuned for more.
Thank you for advocating to protect Head Start!
