Good morning. I haven't been wanting to respond to the allegations and rumors that one couple, one being a former employee, decided to make a vendetta against me and my business. I have seen messages that have been copied between her and I, that have been taken out of context or completely eliminated part of the conversation.
However, this appears to be spreading rumors like a cancer, and have been forced to make a statement.
I have been in business for almost 31 years. Although I make mistakes like any human being, I will swear on my life that we have never taken bad care of any child in that 31 years.
People are saying that people are being mistreated, this is not true at all. If you look at these violations that they're bringing up there's nothing stating that children were mistreated. They started with a series of things that were basically out of my control.
Allegations of withholding money from paychecks is ridiculous. I haven't been here this long, by doing illegal things, which has been said about me.
Since August I have had nine surgeries. I do have an eye problem which I get treated for every 2 months with shots in my eye. This is not an excuse, or a lie, it is the truth. I do have a difficult time seeing small numbers, and have made a couple of mistakes which I corrected immediately for my employees.
I feel I'm a fair employer and would rectify any situation that my staff had immediately, if it was in my power to fix. I have explained the situation to my staff who choose to badmouth me and make up untruths about the situation. I have never maliciously hurt anyone and certainly never a child.
As far as violations go, it is the licenser's job to find out if I have violations. If you search anybody in the business there will be violations and after 31 years that's a lot of years to report.
I can honestly say with a light heart that I have never ever put a child in jeopardy or hurt a child in our care. Those of you have known me for the past 31 years know this. The people who have "seen worse" I would like to know what that is.
Just because some influencers need to be recognzed, does not change my core values.
I'm not going to turn this into a platform to air any dirty laundry. I just wanted to state the truth and let you know we are still here.
