Our goal is to help students achieve their full human potential, explore their talents, and grow in their ability to think and act responsibly. Most importantly, our philosophy is to develop a positive attitude towards learning. School should be fun and exciting, not overcrowded or filled with hours of homework every night. There are not as many teacher planning days and holidays as the public schools. There is little tolerance for behavioral problems and a manageable class size is one of our greatest assets. Our teachers are the most important component to our success. They are caring and devoted to their profession. All teachers are certified graduates of an accredited four-year institution and have spent time teaching at Harvard’s pre-school. Harvard is more than a school – we are like an extended family. We offer individual attention and a caring atmosphere to our students, something public school can never accomplish. Open lines of communication are a major priority here. Parents never need an appointment to speak with our administrators and are permitted to review our curriculum. We want an open, fun, and loving environment for our students. As administrators, teachers, and parents, our satisfaction is the joy on the children’s faces when they are exciting about learning. These early years of schooling are the foundation of their educational career – we must ensure that they start off right.
