Childcare Teacher (1+ Years Experience, Full or Part-Time)

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children?
Kidz Village Preschool is looking for a patient and compassionate childcare teacher who has experience working with children ages 1 to 5 years old. The teacher will help lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.

Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in creating age-appropriate lessons
• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect
• Assist children with developmentally appropriate practices
• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals throughout the day
• Keep parents and families updated on their students’ daily activities and progress

Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED
• 1+ years of experience working in Child Development
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly
• Have completed the basic 45 hours of training throughout the DCF training website
• Pass the regulatory local and FBI background and fingerprint screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 completed ECE units, have an active childcare credential, or be willing to register and work towards it within your first six months of employment with us.
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience working in a play-based environment
