On Monday Hurricane Deck’s graduating seniors came and let us celebrate them. They took a walk down memory lane! They stayed and talked, played at recess, (some even played after the kids went inside) ate lunch with the kids, and talked some more! We are so proud of the entire class of ‘26! Congratulations!

We are so proud of David Burrahm our Counselor representing Hurricane Deck for Teacher of the Year and our librarian Angela Tynes for Educator of the Year!! They are a huge asset to our building and represented HDE well!

Hurricane Deck got the honor of celebrating students that haven’t been in our halls for a while. Congratulations to the class of 2024!!! Thank you to those that were able to come back to visit with the teachers and kids! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did!!Hurricane Deck Elementary

Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Our drivers safely get our kids to and from school every day, rain or shine! Our students start and end their school day with these amazing individuals, and their hard work does not go unnoticed.
