Cherry Chase Elementary School

International night last night was full of tradition, pride, and culture! Over 32 countries were represented.

The event started with a Parade of Nations, then students and families participated in an "Around the World" scavenger hunt. Each booth highlighted authentic artifacts, games/crafts, and delicious foods. The night ended with various cultural performances. What a memorable night! 🗺️ ✈️

In honor of 'School Lunch Hero Day', we would like to give a special thank you to our lunchtime heroes; Ana Fernandez and Marcus McKnight. Thank you for preparing our delicious and healthy meals everyday. We appreciate all that you do! 🍎 🍽️

The Magical Moonshine Puppet Show was a wonderful production! Their rendition of The Three Little Bears was so funny! The students earned this special assembly because we beat our school goal of raising $55,000 for walk-a-thon! Great job, Chargers!

This past week the TK had an Autism Awareness and Acceptance Celebration on their playground. They had an inclusive egg hunt and some parachute and bubble play.

Open House was a HUGE success! We appreciate the many families who attended and showed their support by actively engaging with our classrooms and school community. It was a joy to see students so proud and excited to share their learning. Way to go, Chargers! 🏫📝📓

We really enjoyed the fantastic performance by the Cherry Chase Band during the PTA cookie social. A special thank you to our PTA for providing a delicious dinner for our staff. Your generosity and thoughtfulness were truly appreciated by all. Thank you for helping make open house such a memorable event! 🎺🎻🎷

SPIRIT DAY ALERT: It's Sports Day! Chargers came to school dressed in their favorite sports gear for the day. Which team are you cheering for? 🏅🏀 ⚾

The Friday Flag Crew for today! We had our amazing Admin staff lead our assembly today. What a special treat 🇺🇲

It's Field Trip time! Mrs. Sy's class and Ms. Swim's class recently went to Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park. The students enjoyed fun rides and viewed experimentation models of life and earth sciences. 🍃🧄

Walk-a-thon is more than just walking! At Cherry Chase, students have the opportunity to earn prizes for their laps. Otter pops, VIP lounge, and even a 67 surprise! The W.A.T. auction is also open during the week of this event so families can bid for prizes off the track. Principal for the day, pizza picnics, and art experiences are all offered in our auction this year! 🤩
