Bug Week at Ocean! 🐛

This week, our students are becoming little scientists as we explore the fascinating world of bugs!

We are:
🐛 Closely observing bug anatomy and learning about different body parts
🐛 Sorting bugs vs. non-bugs using black beans for a fun hands-on activity
🐛 Matching and sequencing different bug life cycles

Our class will also be learning about and observing the life cycle of silkworms. This is a special opportunity for students to see how living things grow and change over time!

Our chicks have officially hatched! The students were very excited to welcome them. This is a wonderful live science experience, and over the next few weeks, our students will be observing the chicks as they grow and develop. This hands-on opportunity will help children learn about life cycles, responsibility, and how to care for living things.
