This week, we dove deep into the fascinating world of ocean animals! 🌊💙

Our students read ocean-themed stories, learned interesting facts about different sea creatures, and explored what makes each animal unique. They also got creative with ocean-inspired artwork, bringing their underwater ideas to life. 🎨🐟

We ended our week with an exciting ocean sensory experience! Students pretended to be divers, exploring a bubbly “ocean” filled with sea animals and foam letters while searching, discovering, and identifying what they found. 🤿🫧🔤

🌈 Learning Through Play Every Day! 🌈

This week our little learners have been exploring the magic of mixing colors through hands-on art activities, discovering how primary colors can create brand new ones! 🎨✨

We’ve also been enjoying story time, practicing early language skills, making new friends, and building social confidence through play. Outside, our students explored, imagined, and stayed active while strengthening their gross motor skills in our outdoor learning environment. 🌿☀️

Our students explored the wonderful world of shapes through stories, crafts, and sensory play! Students learned about circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles while creating shape art, building, sorting, and discovering new ways to use their imagination.

Our sensory table was filled with shape sponges, ice, leaves, and containers, giving students opportunities to pour, squeeze, stack, and explore while strengthening fine motor skills, problem-solving, and early math concepts.

We love learning through hands-on experiences where children can touch, create, and discover! 💙

Our students had the wonderful opportunity to observe and learn about the butterfly life cycle—from tiny caterpillars to chrysalis, and finally beautiful butterflies! Today, we released our butterflies into the world and said, “Goodbye, butterflies!” 🦋

This hands-on experience helped children develop an understanding of growth, change, and the natural world. We talked about each stage of the butterfly’s life cycle and shared our excitement as we watched them spread their wings and fly away. What a memorable way to celebrate learning and nature! 🌿
