If you want to know what Helios is really about, you just have to talk to our student ambassadors. They have this amazing way of making every new family feel welcome from the very first hello.
Whether theyโre sharing their projects or keeping the vibes high at the Spring Carnival, they make a huge difference. This special celebration was our chance to cheer them on and say a giant 'thank you' for all they do!

Our fledgling journalists of the Helios Times recently spent the day stepping inside a real newsroom at The Stanford Daily! ๐๐๐ป
Students got a behind-the-scenes look at both print and digital media operations, and heard directly from Stanford's head editors about the history and evolution of the 130-year-old newspaper.
Huge thanks to our faculty advisors for taking this idea from a spark to reality โ and giving our students a meaningful window into what a future in journalism (or a lifelong passion for storytelling) might look like.

Our 5th & 6th graders took on Joshua Tree National Park โ and came back more confident, capable, and connected.
From constructing a tent village to exploring Pioneertown and hiking Black Rock Campground, this annual trip truly extended learning beyond the classroom. Students built independence, teamwork, and the ability to get comfortable being uncomfortable.
Thank you to all our chaperones and parent volunteers for making this trip memorable for all!

Our Backyard Carnival was the perfect way to come together and celebrate spring โ treats, creative spins on classic carnival games, a very busy dunk tank, and lots of laughter.
The best part? Welcoming our new families into the mix for an easy, joyful, and very Helios kind of evening.
Thank you to our creative and dedicated HCA members who brought this special event to life!

Helios Friends Day is one of our favorite traditions of the school year. During this special event, we welcome extended family members, friends, and caregivers to step into the shoes of their students and experience a morning on campus.
From participating in Community Meeting to joining a Math Circle โ or simply spending time together in the classroom โ we hope our guests gained a meaningful glimpse into what makes the Helios community and program so unique.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special!
