* Virtual Classes Lessons include popular Bollywood songs, bhajans, geet etc.

The lessons are taught using Indian and Western proven teaching methods. For easy learning, the lessons use sheet music created by the instructor. You learn to play with both hands. Basic knowledge of chords and their use is included in instruction. There are no prerequisites. Most students start at ground level. Students range in age from 6 to 60 years. The music lessons use hindi music notations

such as Sa Re Ga Ma based on classical indian music. Lessons stress Sur (notes), Taal (Beat or rhythm), Laya (tempo) and accompaniment (orchestration). Keyboard is played using two hands. Classes for two students or less are 30 minute long. Group classes for three students or more are one hour long. For new comers, first few lessons are given on one-on-one basis to assess your skill level. Based on that evaluation, you are put in an appropriate group class. Most students are ready to play their first song in 4 to 6 weeks. If you are interested, you are most welcome to visit live classes to become familiar with the teaching method by making a prior appointment.

I am excited to post this video of Rupen playing and singing “Honthon Se Chhoo Lo”— a cover from film: Prem Geet. Rupen learned it all from scratch -- the very basics. He plays the song with both hands — with left hand playing chords. Way to go Rupen!

I am thrilled to post this video of Ashutosh playing “Jeena Yahan”— a cover from film: Mera Naam Joker. Ashutosh started learning from scratch -- the very basics. He plays the song with both hands — with left hand playing walking chords. Notice how beautifully he plays the interlude that is inspired by the waltz “Waves of the Danube”.
