Today was the last day of school, so we want to thank all our students, families, teachers, and staff for an amazing 2024-2025 school year!

We were blessed to experience a year full of nonstop fun and learning with our community.

Thank you also to our alumni and parishioners, who helped make this school year uniquely special.

We wish everyone a wonderful summer break, and wish all our students the best of luck in their academic journeys ahead.

Spread peace, spend some time with Jesus, and GO KNIGHTS!!

We kept the fun going for our second-to-last day of school!

After our post-recess movie, student received PEACE Potatoes!

As their name suggests, these cute, hand-made potatoes are meant to spread peace to whoever receives them.

So, students got to pick one for themselves, and one to share with a friend or family member.

With summer practically here, our students are ready to spread peace anywhere and everywhere!

Today we graduated the Resurrection Catholic School Class of 2025!

Since it was this class's last day, we made sure to pack in as much fun as possible. The day started with our Buddy Mass, where the 8th graders' 1st grade buddies hosted Mass, and then ended it with presentations about their favorite buddy memories.

Right after, the entire school gathered for our Graduation Parade. Here, our graduates processed down a long line of cheering students, teachers, and parents in individually decorated cars, and then together. This was followed by a fun, 1st grade-hosted Cookie Party!

The day ended with our Graduation Ceremony, where we heard some wonderful words from Ms. Anderson, Mrs. Wright, and one of our graduates, Celine. Then, the graduates watched a slideshow of their Res memories, gifted their mothers beautiful roses, and received their awards and diplomas.

The ceremony ended with a blessing from Father Phong, who joined our community in wishing these students an amazing future in high school and beyond!

Congratulations Celine, Jaden, Sara, and Isabella!

8th grade's graduation week of festivities continued yesterday!

These students spent the morning working on Res's traditional legacy project-where they each decorated a stone to be added to our school’s Peace Garden.

Then, last night, our teachers and staff hosted a celebration dinner for the graduates and their families.

There, each student read a speech thanking their parents for all the contributions they've made to their academic success!

This is our 8th graders' last week, so the graduation activities are well underway!

On Tuesday, these students' 1st grade buddies joined them for a fun picnic in the park!

Then yesterday, our 7th graders hosted the annual 8th Grade Family Breakfast, where they treated our graduating students and their parents to some delicious morning treats.

At the same time, the 7th graders presented their prophecies about each of the 8th graders, giving them a look into the future on their careers and family life. In return, the 8th graders presented some parting gratitude and advice for the younger class.

Later in the day, our entire school hosted the 8th Grade Appreciation Assembly, where teachers, staff, and students shared some heartfelt words about how amazing the graduating class has been, and gave them gifts to remember their time at Res.

Tomorrow is officially this class's last day on campus, and we can't wait to give them a proper send off!

Our first ever Celebrate Res Students Day was fun filled from start to end!

Students started the morning with a marshmallow and pasta building contest, which put their teamwork and engineering skills to the test.

Then, they enjoyed a whole afternoon of inflatable playgrounds, including basketball, Whack-A-Mole, Twister, and human foosball!

The day ended with some Buddy Family chalk creations, and then a chance for everyone to sign each other's yearbooks.

It was a great way to kick off our end-of-year events!

Electric cars are great, but our 3D Printing Club students are sure that balloon-powered cars are the next big thing!

For the finale of our 3D printing curriculum, our students designed and printed unique cars that use balloon air to push themselves forward.

Even though this craft isn't easy, our showcase showed just how creative our students can be!

Thank you to the Hopkins family for making this club such an amazing experience!

Last week, we were honored to welcome Bishop Oscar Cantú back to our campus!

After presiding our school Mass, Bishop then made his way around the classrooms to have some fun discussions with our students.

Topics included Bishop's spiritual calling to priesthood, his daily routine, and of course, his beloved dog Dante!

Thank you for a wonderful visit, Bishop!

While Res may be in the Bay Area, not all our students are fans of Bay Area teams (although most of us are)!

So, for Sports Day, we saw jerseys from all types of sports and teams.

Besides football, baseball, and basketball, we saw hockey, international soccer, and even Formula 1 Racing represented, too!

Have you ever wondered if fruit can generate electricity? Or exactly what amount of air makes a ball bounce perfectly? Or which of your favorite snacks maintains heat the longest?

These questions, and many more, were answered at yesterday's Science Showcase!

Our middle schoolers put various hypotheses to the test-and found some very interesting results.

Whether they were about food, sports, or snails, these projects showed just how far our students' science skills have come!

All four of our 8th graders were confirmed at yesterday's Confirmation Mass at Church of the Resurrection!

With the help of Bishop Cantú, Father Phong, Father Arthur, and Deacon Mike, these students made their deepest commitment yet to the Catholic faith.

We're incredibly proud of this class's faith journey and can't wait to see them continue acting on Jesus's teachings throughout their lives!

Resurrection School? Or Plymouth Rock?

Yesterday, you wouldn't know the difference if you visited our 5th grade classroom!

For Colonial Day, our 5th graders dressed as colonists, and shared presentations with our other students on different jobs that were popular in the early days of the United States.

After giving their peers a thorough history lesson, they enjoyed other popular colonial activities, like playing marbles and churning butter!
