Tonight, Andy and Mr. Puente are following through on a promise that was made with our student body. We challenged our students to break an all time record for a fundraising goal for Jump for Heart. Our students shattered the record with $8,200 raised - much higher than the initial goal of $4,000.

Tonight we are spending the night on top of Outlook Elementary School. Here are just a few photos from our “moving up” ceremony. Hamil will be out at 8:00 tonight with some drone footage. Tune in for the live event.

Today, our school community celebrated our graduates. To all the graduates go be your best selves - the world needs you! We are proud of you and look forward to see all that you do and pursue. Enjoy the moment with family friends for your achievement is worthy of recognition and celebration.

A Sunnyside School District leader and two of our very own Outlook students were interviewed to share about the Smarter Balance assessment. Awesome to hear and see the positive perspective of how students view school and their experiences. Growth mindset heard through all the comments - adults and students alike. Outlook Elementary School will be hosting a plant sale. Our 21st Century program has been hard at work preparing for this event. Our students have cultivated an impressive offering of plants. Come out and support the hard work of our students.

The plant sale will be located on the West side of our school near the front entrance on Thursday, May 12th from 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM. Hope to see you out!

Outlook Elementary School celebrated the holiday season this week with door decorations, school dress-up days, student and staff of the month recognitions, staff luncheon, and a Holiday Program. Lots to celebrate and share.

Our Holiday Program was a special gathering this year at Sunnyside High School. We had guest performances from the SHS Mariachi Group and Cheerleaders. Our students stole the show while sharing their special talents. Thank you to SHS for helping make this event special!

On behalf of our building, we would like to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you everyone for what you bring to our building to make it a special place for learning.
