Congrats to our Alumni of the Month, Estrella! 🎉

Every month, we spotlight a Project SEARCH alum who is making a difference, and Estrella is shining bright! After completing her internship with The Hive Education, she was hired full-time at the N.M. Children First Learning Center and has been promoted to Assistant Teacher. Estrella is building her career in early childhood education, earning her certificate and now pursuing an associate degree, all while inspiring the next generation of learners!

I have fallen behind on posting for our GISD-The Hive Education Center Project SEARCH Program. I can't wait to get my assistant Nancy Grijalva to come on board and be able to help me get all our pictures, events and activities posted in a timely manner 😁😂😅 Here are our Project SEARCH Interns presenting about the program at Santa Teresa High School during one of our Transition Weeks. I am so proud of all their accomplishments and progress.

All our Project SEARCH Interns received their very own I-Pad from their DVR Counselors. They were excited and ready ti set it up. 😁 they will be able to work on the Avail program. We have such an amazing team and support for our Interns. With Patricia Garcia
