🌱 Foundations Early Learning Center is a brand-new early childhood center opening January 2027, and we are looking for passionate educators to become part of our founding team.
We are currently interviewing candidates for positions beginning in January 2027.
As a founding teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to help establish classroom routines, build our culture, contribute to our curriculum, and help shape the experience we provide to children and families from day one.
Anticipated start date: Late December/early January

🌱 Lead Teacher
Lead Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while guiding the daily learning and development of children. Lead Teachers will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, maintain classroom routines, communicate with families, complete required documentation, and work closely with their teaching team.
🌼 Assistant Teacher
Assistant Teachers work alongside Lead Teachers to provide quality care, supervision, and learning experiences for children. Responsibilities include assisting with activities and routines, supporting classroom organization and cleanliness, helping with meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and providing attentive care and positive guidance throughout the day.
🌿 Support Teacher
Support Teachers provide flexible support throughout the center wherever they are needed. This may include assisting in different classrooms, covering breaks and staff absences, helping with opening or closing routines, supporting classroom activities, assisting with meals, diapering/toileting, cleaning, and transitions.
✨ ALL teachers and staff must meet applicable State of Michigan childcare licensing requirements for their position and follow all center policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
