🌾🥩 Happy Wyoming Farm to School Day! 🥩🌾

Today, Wednesday, October 7, we’re celebrating Wyoming Farm to School Day at Sundance Elementary! This special day encourages schools and childcare centers across Wyoming to showcase locally grown and raised agricultural products in their meals and snacks.

And what better way to celebrate than with a bowl of chili made with locally donated beef! 🌾🐂❤️A HUGE thank-you to the Halverson family for generously donating the beef that will be used in Wednesday’s chili. We are so grateful for families and community members who support our school in ways that allow our Little Bulldogs to experience and celebrate the agriculture that is such an important part of Wyoming!

From our local farms and ranches to our school lunchroom — thank you for helping us bring Wyoming to the table! ❤️We appreciate all of the generous individuals and families who donate to our schools and help make special days like this possible. Our Little Bulldogs are lucky to have such a supportive community! 🐾🌾

🎃👻 Calling all little ghosts, goblins, and Bulldogs! Join us at Sundance Secondary on Saturday, October 24, for a spooktacular evening of family fun!

🍬 Trunk-or-Treat: 4:30–5:30 PM in the parking lot
🎪 Halloween Carnival: 5–7 PM
🧙 Costume Contest: 5:30 PM
🎉 Jackpot Prize Drawings: 5:30, 6 & 6:30 PM
🎟️ Drawing for an unlimited-play wristband: 6 PM

Must be present to win the costume contest and jackpot prizes!
Come hungry! Grab a $7 BOO Dawg Special with a hot dog or a $10 Road Kill Delight with pulled pork. Both meals include chips, a cookie, and water.

🍂Fall Parent Teacher Conference Reminder!

Just a friendly reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week! We look forward to visiting with families and celebrating all the wonderful things our Little Bulldogs are learning and accomplishing. 🐾❤️

REMINDER! There is no regular after school program on Tuesday, October 6th and Thursday, October 8th. Students need to be picked up promptly at 3:50 PM so staff have adequate time to prepare for conferences.

NOTE - While you attend your conferences, free childcare activities will be available for your children. You may sign them in at the K-2 After School Program room near 1st grade. This is intended as a service while you attend your conference—not a 3-hour childcare program—so please plan to pick up your children when your conference is finished.

We hope this helps make conference evening a little easier for our families!

📸 PICTURE RETAKE DAY IS COMING! 📸
Did your child’s picture not turn out quite the way you hoped? Want to give it another shot? Retake Day is coming up next week! 🎉

If you would like your child to have a retake:
📌 Please send your child’s original picture packet back to school ON OR BEFORE Retake Day.
📝 Include a note letting the photographer know what you would like to see different in the retake.

Missed Picture Day altogether? No problem! 😊 Extra picture packets are available in the school office if your child still needs their 2026–2027 school picture taken.

A busy day of Bulldog athletics with JH Volleyball, Cross Country, HS Volleyball, and HS Football all competing!

JH Volleyball Districts in Hulett, Youth Girls Basketball games at Belle Fourche, and HS Volleyball vs. Moorcroft & Lusk.

🐾❤️ SEPTEMBER LITTLE BULLDOGS OF THE MONTH! ❤️🐾

September was all about SELF-DISCIPLINE, and we are excited to celebrate the Little Bulldogs who have been showing this important character trait throughout the month!

Self-discipline means being the boss of your own choices—staying focused, making responsible decisions, persevering when things get tough, following through on responsibilities, and choosing to do the right thing even when no one is watching.

A BIG congratulations to our September Little Bulldogs of the Month! 🎉🐾 We are proud of the way these Little Bulldogs are showing that strong character isn't just about what you know—it's about the choices you make every day!
