https://www.instagram.com/native.american.christian?igsh=b3Jsb2w0OWpvbW94 In 1963, Gertrude Jones founded the Native American Christian Academy. At that time it was called Twin Wells School and later was known as Sun Valley Indian School. Gertrude's dream was to provide a boarding school for the Native American children that would make a difference in their lives. The opening school was on a 5-acre plot of land that has since grown to be 70+ acres and 32 buildings. The dream lives on in the staff and volunteers as we minister to the children God sends.

Thank you Northern Michigan! 🩶🩵🖤The Northern Michigan District team delivered major upgrades across campus. They completely repainted the exterior of Green Gables, one of our biggest buildings, transformed the Academic Storage Room into a functional space, painted and wired lights in one of our new classrooms 💡,and completed drywall work in the Activity Center. Thank you all for your hard work and the way you loved on us and our students!

Thank you St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church for all of the amazing work you completed during your time here! 🩶🩵🖤They completed the final section of our pergola—finishing the structure in its entirety—and began laying out and pouring the foundation for our new water-treatment system. 💧This important next step will help provide clean water across campus as NACA continues moving into its next phase of development. Thank you for all of your dedication to NACA!

We are always so excited to have Richfield Church of the Nazarene here, but are always sad to see them leave! During their week they completed the major plumbing and electrical for our activity center bathrooms, 🪠 removed and patched several windows in our activity center, renewed the Jones apartment with flooring, advanced our staff laundry, and much much more! We cannot wait to have your team with us again! 🩶🩵🖤

Last week we had the pleasure of having the Philadelphia District Team on campus with us, and what a blast it was! 🩶🩵🖤 The Philadelphia team made a tremendous impact during an intensive week of cleaning, repairs, and campus preparation ⚒️. They completed the final touch ups and installations in our boys dorm, as well as fully cleaning and repairing the second dorm parent apartment in the dorm, and helped bring the Justice dorm renovation to completion. 🎉 Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to NACA!!
