At Rock-a-bye Sun Prairie, we love sharing simple, teacher-tested activities you can do at home to boost early problem-solving and math readiness.

Try this sensory sorting game: set out small cups, a variety of safe objects, and challenge your child to sort by color, size, or shape. Snap step-by-step photos, celebrate each correct match, and ask gentle questions to encourage thinking.

Our program intends to participate in Get Kids Ready, a state-funded school readiness program that helps 4-year-olds prepare for the transition from child care or home to a school setting.

And one of the great things is the state pays for the time kids spend in Get Kids Ready, making that part of the day free for families.
