☀️ The heat didn’t stop us yesterday! ☀️

Our Westside Party on the Playground was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much fun as we celebrated another amazing school year together. From Kona Ice, balloon animals, face painting, and henna to games, hot dogs, and time spent with friends, it was a wonderful evening for our Wildcats and their families!!

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, community partners, and families who helped make the event such a success. Seeing our playground filled with happy kids and supportive families was the perfect way to close out the school year.

🌈 Pride Month is here! 🌈

Westside will be celebrating with a Rainbow Spirit Day on Tuesday! We invite our Wildcats and staff to wear their favorite rainbow colors as we recognize the importance of belonging, kindness, and respect for all.

Tickets are only available for purchase in person at the Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation, and Forestry office. We are located at 2598 W Main St, and our office hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Fridays.

As we look back on another successful year of Kids Achieving Together (KAT), we’re reminded that none of it would be possible without the commitment of our families, students, and staff. ❤️🐾

Through our 21st CCLC grant, we were able to support 60 Wildcats this year with additional opportunities to strengthen their reading, math, and writing skills while also making learning fun through hands-on activities and enrichment experiences.

Attendance matters, and we are so grateful to our families for making the commitment to show up each day and help their children succeed. Thank you to our incredible afterschool staff for the care, dedication, and encouragement they provide to our students every day.

Today was all about them - the smiles, the laughter, the determination, the cheering, and the memories made out on the field! Watching our students run their hearts out and support one another was the best part of the entire day. 👟🎉

We do it all for them!! 🥳

Our Wildcats had families everywhere today! From BRAVING the 40s/50s temp this morning and holding handmade signs, cheering along the route, volunteering their time to help set up, encourage runners, hand out support, and stay afterwards to help clean up. The energy, love, and support our students felt today was incredible. 🎉👟

Seeing our school community come together like this means so much. Thank you for showing up for our kids and helping make today so special for our Wildcats!!

What a FUN way to kick off our Fun Run! 🎉👟

We started the morning with a staff inflatable relay race and let’s just say… our staff gave it their ALL and our Wildcats LOVED cheering them on! 😂

We also had a special all-day visit from Mr. Dan & Cody, our amazing therapy dog team! 🐶❤️ Cody brought lots of smiles, calm moments, and extra excitement to an already awesome day!
