If you have never used Excel, you will find this class very stimulating. Or, did you use it at work, but would like a fun refresher.

You will learn about cells, data values, and beginning formulas (functions). Learn how you can record home expenses and have at your disposal all individual totals of each expense category. Did you know an excel spreadsheet has 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns? But, you won't use all of them in this class!

Other helpful features taught will be: copying and pasting data, filling series, replicating, shading certain cells, and enhancing your project with borders. You will learn much in the 4-day class. Studies show that using Excel can help seniors organize their finances, health care and their lives.

You will need to pre-register. You can sign up for the classes anytime that the club is open (8 AM to 4 PM M-F, 8 AM to Noon on Sat). You will also need a flash drive.

By request this month I will focus on how to Organize and Save your documents and pictures on your Computer AND/OR in the “Cloud” in OneDrive.

Plus, I will cover how to use Word, and Excel available in Windows 10 for NO COST.

AND, bring your questions OR “HOW DO I DO ???” and/or any frustrations for ANY of Windows 10 features.

Registration is NOT required and there is no charge for this Workshop.
Open to all Computer Club Members.
We have 12 desktop computers for your use on a “First-Come-First-Served” basis – OR, bring your OWN laptop to use.

We will cover your questions about getting started with your new Android Smartphone or tablet. Find help if you are new to using Android. Learn more about these little handheld computers.

Things we can cover include:

Setting up security for your device.
I just get started and the screen goes off! Frustrating!
Where are my pictures? How can I find them?
Apps? What are Apps? Where can I get them?
What are your favorite Apps and why?
How to connect to WiFi.
And, your question!
And, most of all, you will learn how to have fun with your new toys!

The Android Clinic
In the Android Clinic, we work in small group to solve individual problems. This is where you can receive one-on-one help! Your questions are answered by using your own device. Another club member will walk you through the solution. If you have used an Android device for over a year, you can still come and get or give help and advice.

In addition to our presentation room and three classrooms, our facility includes a monitor station where help is always available, a members lab complete with computers and a slide scanner, a tech room and the teachers office.

We offer classes, Workshops and Special Interest Groups on a variety of PC and Android Devices.
