Today, our Middle & High School Scholars participated in something new we’re officially calling ROC Center Wednesdays! 🎉
ROC Center Wednesdays were created to give our scholars a break from the traditional classroom setting through fast-paced, interactive, no-tech group rotations that blend biblical principles with academic learning.
Today’s theme was “Stewardship: How will you use what you’ve been given?”
Our scholars had the opportunity to:
✨ Learn alongside peers from different grade levels
✨ Work with teachers they don’t normally have in their classrooms
✨ Engage in hands-on activities connected to different subject areas
✨ Explore what it means to be a good steward of what God has entrusted to them
Teachers created activities around questions like:
💰 How will you steward your finances?
🧠 How will you steward your mind?
💪 How will you steward your body?
📚 How will you steward the resources given to you?
🙏 How will you be a good steward of what God has placed in your hands?
And one of the most refreshing parts of the day? LUNCH. 🍽️
Our scholars were sitting around the table, talking, laughing, connecting, and enjoying one another’s company — without needing their electronics to keep them entertained.
That’s the vision behind ROC Center Wednesdays: learning, connecting, moving, and growing beyond the traditional classroom.
Today was just the beginning, and we’re excited to continue building something special for our scholars! 💙❤️
