Please read. Very important updates regarding homecoming tomorrow (per GT):
1. The district has a no alcohol/no smoking policy on school grounds. Therefore, PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANY OPEN CONTAINERS OUT. Use a flask, a tumbler, a red cup, or SOMETHING!!! The officers also wanted me to mention that you will be not be allowed into the game and will be asked to leave the premises if you’re visibly intoxicated. HINT: If you can’t hold your liquor, don’t drink…and mess this up for everybody.
2. The wrist bands will be at the gate. You must purchase your own tickets into the game if you want to see the game. If you would like to come out of the gate, you MUST GET A WRISTBAND FROM THE TICKETBOOTH. They are not going to ask you if you’re coming back…IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get the wristband before coming out. If you don’t get one, you’ll have to purchase another ticket to get into the game.
⭐️⭐️⭐️They will NOT be allowing re-entry after halftime (just learned this last night while at the volleyball game) After halftime, once you leave the gate, you can’t come back in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. The district has put into place a policy that all children (up to 8th grade) must enter the game with a parent/guardian. The same goes for leaving out the gate and re-entry. Please be advised. So for instance, if you take your kids into the game and you come out of the game without them, they will not be able to leave the game unless you go to the gate and get them. At the same time, your kids can’t go back into the game without you.
➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️4. Each class needs to bring some trash bags. It’s the class’ responsibility to make sure their area is clean and the trash is hauled off. ⬅️⬅️⬅️⬅️
5. Just a thought…Feed the officers doing the security. Our contracts say we have to leave at 10, but it’s the officers that have to stay with us as long as we are there. We can stay past 10, just keep the officers happy and fed. 😉 And feed the DJ James Djbigboy Butler!
6. Don’t forget your balloons if your class is participating in the balloon release.
