The mystery of the missing student amendments took over ADMS Friday! Our Hawks turned detectives, following clues, examining evidence, and making their cases through reading, critical thinking, and writing.
The verdict? FOWL PLAY was a huge success for students and staff alike! 🦅
No Chromebooks. Just pencils, clues, and some very suspicious characters! 🕵️
The case is closed, detectives. Enjoy your fall break... and stay out of trouble! 🍂

Hawk Nation brought the school spirit today by wearing school colors in celebration of our only home game against our rival team. Students and staff alike were all about the blue and white.

Our students took on the ultimate STEM Glider Challenge this week! After studying real airplane designs, student engineers built and customized their own model gliders to see whose creation could soar the farthest.

During flight testing, students recorded distance, airtime, stability—and even counted a few unexpected flips! 🔄 Dynamic hands-on learning in action! 🚀

✈️ The Hawks took flight at eSTEAM Sumter! 💙🤍

Alice Drive Middle School was excited to share our Hawk Flight Challenge at eSTEAM Sumter Festival! Visitors became engineers as they designed their own paper airplanes, tested their flights, made improvements, and then redesigned and retested to see if they could fly even farther. ✈️

Along the way, families learned more about the many STEM opportunities available at ADMS, including our flight simulator, PLTW Flight & Space course, and much more!

We loved sharing a little piece of STEM at the Nest with our Sumter community! 💙🤍
