🦅✨ **Virtual field trip with the South Carolina Aquarium!🐠🌊 it’s time for “Raptor Rapture!”🦅 Students in Ms. Millers class learned all about amazing birds of prey, including Bald Eagles and Barn Owls, and discover the incredible adaptations that help these animals survive and thrive in their environments.

This was a fun introduction to our upcoming Science standards on animal structures and functions-so students will be learning while having a pretty awesome experience! 🔬🦉

All Sumter School District campuses will have a half day on Friday, August 28, to allow our dedicated educators time for district-wide school professional development and collaboration.

Circuits 🔂

Last week, 4th & 5th Grade students learned about circuits in the STEAM Lab, and then got to construct their very own, with the goal of turning the lightbulb on. 💡
This week, they will be focusing on conductors & insulators 🤓
