Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) is a traditional Mexican celebration that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed away. This year, USC Sumter will celebrate from October 27 through November 2! 🌼🧡

A meaningful part of this tradition is the creation of ofrendas (offerings), decorated with marigolds, photos, candles, and favorite foods to celebrate the lives and memories of loved ones.

We invite students, faculty, and staff to participate by adding photos of loved ones to our community altar in the SUB.

The Fire Ant Shop and Student Life are also looking for volunteers to help decorate! Stop by either location to sign up.

Join us as we come together to honor loved ones and celebrate this beautiful tradition! 🦋
