South Carolina has ended the year with a budget surplus, yet thousands of hardworking families are losing access to child care assistance that allows them to go to work every day.
Parents are being forced to make impossible choices.
Child care centers are struggling to keep their doors open.
Employers are losing reliable workers because families have nowhere safe and affordable for their children.
This isn't just a child care issue. It's a workforce issue. It's an economic issue. And most importantly, it's a family issue.
If your family has been affected by the loss of ABC vouchers, or you believe South Carolina should prioritize working families, now is the time to speak up.

Annual DSS Inspection Success!

We are proud to share that Palmetto Academic Learning Station completed our annual South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) inspection today with no deficiencies cited!

During the visit, DSS confirmed:

* ✅ All classrooms were in ratio
* ✅ Adequate supervision was observed
* ✅ No deficiencies at the time of the visit

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff for their dedication to providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment every day. We also appreciate our wonderful PALS families for trusting us with your children.
