Benedict Day School Private Independent Christian School in the Hattiesburg area located off of Hwy. 589

BDS provides experiential learning at every grade level, and it is often these experiences that students remember most. We incorporate the arts, physical education, and character education into our academic program. Visitors to our campus remark that they notice the warmth, eagerness, and enthusiasm of the staff and students. BDS is a place where students grow intellectually, emotionally and socially, and where they gain self-confidence, learn concern and respect for others and develop an understanding of global responsibilities.

A favorite 3rd grade tradition! Tom Heanue from the Sunrise Rotary Club of Hattiesburg visited our students to gift each of them a dictionary and talk about why strong reading and writing skills matter. We always enjoy having him on campus and appreciate the Rotary Club investing in our students year after year! 💙📚
