The Husky Hustle had students moving, laughing, and pushing themselves as they ran laps together. 💜SHS💛 student leaders helped cheer runners on and keep the energy high, while Maple Lawn staff joined in by running alongside students. Even when the rain started, students kept smiling and making the most of every lap!

MLE 5th graders enjoyed a hands-on day of career exploration, balancing responsibilities, working with coworkers, and solving unexpected challenges at Biztown! They explored career paths, kept their businesses running, and after a full day on the job, may have a new appreciation for weekends and a few questions about payroll! 💜🐾

True to 🧡Valley Pride, you can’t have a parade in downtown Sumner without Mr. Carl and the 💜💛Sumner High School Band! 🎶 This may have been our first Growth Parade, but after a day like today, we think it’s a tradition that’s here to stay! 🐾 Sumner HS Band & Colorguard

Student athletes involved with Leadership at 💜Sumner High School💛 visited MLE to meet with our 5th graders! They shared how being kind is actually cool and that if you want to build positive friendships and connections, you have to treat others with kindness. It was evident through our students’ participation, conversations, and questions how meaningful this partnership was for them. MLE students are already excited for the next opportunity to work together!
