A few months ago, Dylan and I were on a long haul through the forests of Oxford County, Maine. After hiking for hours through thick brush and up steep mountain slopes, we encountered a ledge that looked different from all the rest we had encountered that day. We immediately began digging around, uncovering the ledge. In the dirt below we found some odd smoky overgrowth on milky quartz crystals. Then we found some large chunks of blue beryl. Then things really started to heat up when we began pulling milky coated smoky Quartz crystals, parallel growth smoky Quartz crystals, and finally the tiny banger of a crystal that is shown in the beginning and end of this video. This is just the start of some great discoveries we made at this location. Welcome to the Bunchberry Prospect! Discovered July, 2026. I told you we would hold off the nor’easter! Our wedding weekend was magical, full of love and friendship, and our special fire performance made the crowd go wild! Many of you don’t know that Sarah and I met at a party on valley street in Portland 12.5 years ago and I performed on fire that night. We’ve been performing together ever since! Thank you to everyone out there who also convinced the storm to retrograde. It was a wild ride!

Tomorrow is the day we have both been patiently awaiting for a long time! Sarah is the best prospecting and adventure partner that I could ever ask for! We’re going to tie the knot tomorrow afternoon. Our love has made the Nor’easter hold off and we’re ready for the next great adventure!

I Showed Up To An Oxford County Mineral and Gem Association Trip a bit late last weekend, but Parker and Wayne already had some Awesome finds! Gem Beryl, Black Tourmaline, and Some Killer Golf Ball Sized Almandine Garnet Crystals were found! Thanks again to leobebo for leading Another Awesome Trip!

Yesterday Sarah Capra diggingminerals Nicole Fitzgerald and I went out to collect some Almandine Garnets at a location close to home. We all found some, Danny found a snake, and we all had a great time collecting!

Last Weekend I Led An OCMGA Gold Collecting Field Trip To The Swift River In Byron, Maine. Almost All Of Us Found Some GOLD and We All Had Fun Playing In The River! I Got An Opportunity To Use A Full Sized Sluice For The First Time Ever And I Wasn’t Disappointed! The Last Piece Pictured Is The Largest Piece I Have Found To Date! My first look back in time in a while! This Quartz Crystal was the largest I had found at the time! I had just bought some big mining equipment, had no idea how to use it, and thought I must have been crazy pursuing my dreams. Fast forward to now and it has just been a wild ride. This year has been the best mining and collecting season of my life so far! I look forward to being able to share some of the monster finds from the year with you soon! With 500 miles on foot this year alone, we have made some killer discoveries, and we’re just getting started…. Stay Tuned! Thanks again for watching!

Expect the Unexpected! A couple months ago, I was on an adventure in search of Smoky Quartz Crystals in New Hampshire. leobebo and I ended up finding some of the Largest Hematite Crystals ever found from this particular location. They aren’t very big, but their form, habit and luster more than make up for their size! Thanks again to Leo for making this trip day extra special and one I will never forget!

I began my Bachelor Party Weekend with a tough, short hike to the top of Mt. Kineo on Moosehead Lake. This steep cliff is made up of Kineo Rhyolite, a stone renowned for thousands of years for the incredible tools produced from it. Rhyolite from here has been found over 1,000 miles away as ancient trade routes suggest it was one of the best of its kind! I stopped to take videos at a picturesque lake on the way to our home for the weekend, where a stunning fiery sunset capped off a great day. My buddies and I went whitewater rafting on the Kennebec Saturday, none of us fell out of the boat, but we jumped in to float a few rapids. It was a great day! We got to enjoy some fireworks from our spot above Bingham, which was a very pleasant surprise. Dylan and spent Sunday jumping from watershed to watershed, 4 in all to prospect for gold. We found some promising spots to check out in the future! All in all, an incredible weekend with some incredible friends. Thanks for watching!
