PTK Officer Team met with the Executive Director of McComb Main Street Association, Brandon Andrews. We are supporting their The Main Table event on October 5th as part of our Honors-in-Action project.

SMCC PTK Omicron Delta Chapter welcomes advisor, Abbey McEwen. She is a SMCC Alumni, PTK Omicron Delta Chapter Alumni. She has worked for Ole Miss as a transfer recruiter for seven years, and she is now working for SMCC as Academic Counselor/ Executive Director of the Alumni Association. She will be a great asset to our chapter, and she will be focusing on preparing members to submit scholarship applications.

We had a great first meeting. We collected 51 boxes of crayons and 17 coloring books to donate to the McComb Child Advocacy Center. We have several events planned: PTK Pop Up Event, Sept. 22; Scholarship Training, Sept. 30th.

Celebrating our PTK member graduates. Spotlight: Olivia Ellison. She will be attending Mississippi College in the fall to pursue a degree in allied sciences. She received a PTK officer scholarship, the Speed scholarship, and the Beacon of Excellence scholarship.
