A defining moment for Kent Place!

Anonymous donors with decades-long ties to our community have made a historic $13 million gift to the school — the largest single donation in Kent Place’s 132-year history.

This extraordinary gift brings philanthropic support for the Leadership Center for Athletic, Wellness, and Performing Arts to $45 million and the school’s "Leading the Way" campaign to $65 million toward its $75 million goal.

Set to open in 2027, the Leadership Center will unite athletics, the arts, wellness, and ethical leadership under one roof for students from Preschool through Grade 12 — investing directly in the next generation of confident, ethical leaders.

Latinx Night Brings Music, Dance, and Community to Kent Place! 💃
On the evening of September 23 — with colorful papel picado banners overhead and salsa music setting the vibe — the Great Room was the site of Kent Place’s annual Latinx Night. Hosted by the Diversity and Equity Parent Group (DEPG), students, families, faculty, and staff gathered for a taste of the rich culture with Latino music, food, and dance.

Yesterday was the Upper School Club Fair!
With around 50 clubs and publications to choose from, there was truly something for everyone! From Philosophy Club and First Aid Club to CLIF (Crime Lab, Investigation & Forensics) and Active Minds, students had plenty of opportunities to find their people and explore their interests.

Student leaders lined the hallways, pitching their clubs and trying to recruit new members. Student leaders came prepared with plenty of Dunkin’ Munchkins, Sour Patch Kids, and even bagels!

Safe to say, food was definitely part of the persuasion strategy!

Reflecting back on our Athletics Global Trip! 🌎
At Kent Place, global learning extends beyond the classroom and onto the field! This August, two Kent Place teams traveled to the Netherlands and Belgium just before preseason began.

Through clinics, games, and sessions led by international coaches, our student-athletes had the opportunity to compete and grow together. Off the field, they immersed themselves in the culture of both countries, from trying new foods to exploring the streets of Amsterdam and Antwerp.
