MY SUMMER:
Eleanor A. '33 is making a difference in her community! Through the efforts of KPS Girl Scout Troop 41249, Eleanor presented a $400 donation to the Union Township Animal Shelter, raised through last year's Girl Scout Cookie sales to help support the medical care of animals in need.

During her visit, Eleanor toured the shelter, learned the stories of some of its residents, and spent time helping socialize the animals. She is excited to continue volunteering and supporting the shelter in the future.

Way to go, Eleanor! 🐾

From the Amazon River to unforgettable moments of discovery, our students immersed themselves in the beauty, biodiversity, and culture of Peru. 🇵🇪

Through hands-on conservation work, wildlife research, and meaningful connections with local communities, they gained a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship and global citizenship. This journey was filled with adventure, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT:
Congratulations to Raina C. '30 on an incredible academic achievement! Raina has been shortlisted in the 2026 John Locke Institute Global Essay Competition in the Junior Psychology category—one of the world's most prestigious academic essay competitions.

This year's competition attracted 100,227 entrants from 183 countries, with only the top 17.5% earning a place on the shortlist. As part of the rigorous selection process, Raina also completed an academic interview, demonstrating her understanding of her research, arguments, and writing.

In recognition of her accomplishment, Raina has been invited to attend the John Locke Institute Academic Conference and Awards Ceremony in London this October, where the final awards will be announced.

Her achievement reflects months of research, critical thinking, and dedication, and we couldn't be more proud.

Kent Place on the global stage! 🌎
We are proud to celebrate Dr. Galambos, who recently presented at the International Coalition of Girls' Schools (ICGS) Global Forum in Toronto as part of a featured panel on Social Media Concerns Around the World.

Joining fellow Heads of School from England and Australia, Dr. Galambos explored how girls' schools are addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities of social media and artificial intelligence while empowering students to navigate the digital world with confidence and purpose.

The conference also generated exciting interest in Kent Place's innovative REBOOT program through The Ethics Institute, highlighting our school's leadership in digital wellness, ethics, and girls' education.

We are honored to help shape the global conversation on preparing the next generation of thoughtful, ethical leaders.
