Just two days into sixth grade, students jumped into their first science lab โ working in teams to build a structure capable of suspending a marshmallow using spaghetti, tape and other simple materials. ๐ฌ
More than a building challenge, the activity introduced skills theyโll rely on throughout the year: communicating, collaborating, testing ideas, adapting when something doesnโt work and reflecting on the process.
Not a bad way to get sixth-grade science off the ground!
