This morning was our final General PTO meeting of the year. Thank you to Heather Rocco, our Director of Curriculum & Instruction, who gave an insightful look into how our district’s curriculum is developed and shaped to support our students. And, of course, thank you to our Pres for keeping us in the Franklin loop.

This week, Franklin will be participating in the Green Schools committee district wide initiative - Walk/Bike/Carpool to school contest. This will happen this coming week, May 11-15. Every day, students are charged with walking/biking/carpooling to school and teachers will take a tally of how many students in each classroom walked/biked/carpooled to school. At the end of the week, the results will be tallied and the class with the highest participation for the week will win an extra PE class! May the greenest classroom win!
