A staycation is supposed to save you money. So why are so many families ending up spending more than they expected? πŸ€”

I sat down with and to dig into the biggest budget busters during summer, the sneaky spending that turns a "cheap and easy" stay-close-to-home plan into a surprisingly expensive one.

Most women spend their paycheck, survive on it, or save whatever is left over. Not because they do not care; nobody ever gave them a real number to work with.

The number is 20%. Off the top. Before bills. Before spending. Before anything.

If 20% feels impossible right now that tells you exactly which stage of wealth you are in and what to fix first
Find out where to start based on where you are right now.

When we learn to invest, everything around us becomes an investment opportunity. πŸ’°

That shift is not reserved for Wall Street. It is available to every woman who decides to learn.

When we learn to invest, everything around us becomes an investment opportunity.

The coffee shop. The tech company. The brand you buy from every single month. Once you understand how investing works, you stop being a consumer and start thinking like an owner.

That mindset shift is the beginning of building real wealth. And it starts with education, not a big bank account.

Not all debt is the villain of your story, and I need more people to hear that. Good debt is debt with a potential return, it's an investment in your career, your home, your future income, student loans, a mortgage, a business loan. Bad debt is a bill from your past, no return, just sitting in your budget taking up space, credit card debt, most car loans.

Good debt asks "what's my ROI." Bad debt just asks for a payment and gives you nothing back.

Which kind of debt are you actually carrying right now? Not sure where to start sorting it out? I've got a free guide for that, link in bio. πŸ‘‡

Not every "we need to talk about money" conversation goes the same way, and that's because not everyone processes money the same way.

There are really 3 types of people when it comes to changing financial habits.

The first won't budge, no matter how the conversation goes. That's less a money issue and more a deeper one, sometimes it takes more than a budget spreadsheet to shift.

The second just never learned this stuff, and once you actually sit down and build a plan together, spending, debt, the future, they're fully on board.

The third is already good with money, and honestly makes every conversation about it easy.

Knowing which type you're dealing with, in a partner, a family member, even yourself, changes how you actually approach the conversation. One size does not fit all here.

Which type are you? Let's hear you. πŸ‘‡

That "wait... I actually get it now" feeling? That's the whole point of this hour. πŸŽ‰

Our Money Meet-Up is back, Tuesday, August 25 at 12PM EST. No boring lecture, no lingering confusion, just an hour of real talk, real questions, and that lightbulb moment when something that's confused you for years finally just clicks.

Come with your questions. Come with the thing you've been meaning to ask. Come curious, leave confident, that's the deal.
