"We could not give a higher recommendation to Summit Tutoring, and specifically to Ryan Orlando, for SAT preparation. Our son had done most of his SAT preparation on his own and had reached a point where he felt stuck and was having difficulty making further progress. Ryan was quickly able to identify the areas holding him back and provided very specific recommendations and strategies to help him push through that.." says Jamie on Google

"Ryan Orlando is outstanding. He genuinely cares about each and every student and always goes above and beyond in his tutoring." That's Eliza's take after working with Ryan, five stars, and she called it a great price on top of it.

Tutors who actually care about the outcome make the difference, not just the material.

Prachi's journey with Summit Prep started back in high school with ACT prep, and it didn't stop there.

Her tutor didn't just teach the material generically. He pinpointed her specific weaknesses and focused there, which made all the difference. She went on to Northeastern University, earned the Dean's scholarship, and is now a first-year medical student.

From high school ACT prep to med school. That's the kind of long-term impact we aim for.

"The tutors and staff were excellent to work with, and were great with planning and scheduling throughout the process in a very accommodating and professional way. Our student daughter exceeded the 200 point increase that was initially planned for, and we’re all really happy with the results and decision to go with Summit Prep." says Michael on Google

"I loved my experience here! I was tutored by Ryan Orlando for around eight months and I felt he heavily prepared me for my ACT. I was able to improve dramatically and he helped me feel comfortable and confident when walking into each test. I was given the correct study tools and support to succeed. He helped me work on my timing and used real ACT questions so I knew what to expect. Every tutoring session felt enjoyable.." says Ania on Google

New data from this year's Common Data Sets shows a clear pattern. Just over half of the top 100 colleges became less test-optional this year, either requiring more students to submit scores or going fully test-required. Only 21% moved the other direction.

The trend is not neutral. It's moving toward requiring scores.

"Patrick Kennedy at Summit Prep is FANTASTIC! My daughter worked with him on both SAT prep and APUSH, and I truly cannot recommend him highly enough.

We had previously been paying for an in-person SAT tutor, but it just didn’t seem to be making much of a difference. After working with Patrick online, her score improved significantly. Every session was focused, productive, and genuinely helpful.
