Looking for a different kindergarten experience?

Maybe your little one needs a smaller classroom, a little more individual attention, or just a school environment where they can truly feel comfortable and excited to learn.

At Murray Meadow Academy, we believe kindergarten should be filled with learning, curiosity, friendships, and plenty of time to just be a kid.

We offer strong traditional academics in a smaller, more personal setting, with hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, and teachers who really get to know each child.

We’re opening up a few more kindergarten spots and would love to welcome some new families into our little schoolhouse!

If you’ve been considering a change for your kindergartener, come see what we’re all about. We’d love to show you around!

Our mud kitchen has quickly become one of our favorite places to play! 🤎🌿🥄

The kids LOVE getting their hands dirty, mixing up their own muddy creations, and using their imaginations together. From mud pies and “soups” to some very creative recipes, there is always something being made! 😂

We love watching them explore, create, problem-solve, and work together through hands-on play. Sometimes the best learning is a little messy! 🪵🍃🪣

🍂 Learning, Playing & Growing at Murray Meadow Academy! 🌎✨

Our students have been busy learning all about the changing seasons and the amazing changes we see in the world around us! ☀️🍁❄️🌷

One of our favorite things about learning at Murray Meadow Academy is finding the perfect balance between hands-on play and meaningful academics. Our students have plenty of opportunities to explore, create, build, move, and use their imaginations—but they are also incredibly engaged when it’s time to dive into reading, math, science, and other academic learning. 📚🧠

We love seeing how curious they are, the questions they ask, and the connections they make each day. Learning doesn’t have to mean sitting at a desk all day—sometimes the very best learning happens when little hands are busy exploring! 🫶🏼🌿

We are so proud of how much our students are learning, playing, and growing together! 💛

🍎📚 Apple Week + Bookmobile Fun! 📚🍎

We had such a fun-filled week at Murray Meadow Academy! This week was all about APPLES! 🍏🍎 Our students learned how apples grow, explored the different parts of an apple, and participated in hands-on activities and experiments that brought our learning to life!

We also had a very special visit from the Dorchester County Library Bookmobile! 🚌📚 Each student had the opportunity to choose and check out a book of their own. We love finding new ways to encourage our students to read for enjoyment and discover books they’re excited about! ❤️

Hands-on learning, new books, and lots of happy little learners made for another wonderful week at Murray Meadow Academy! 🌿✨

I want to take a minute to recognize the other face behind Murray Meadow Academy! 🫶🏻

People see me a lot when it comes to the school, but what they don’t always see is how much of this exists because of my husband.

From the very beginning, he has been right beside me - building, fixing, moving, hauling, figuring things out, listening to every crazy idea I’ve had, and somehow helping me turn those ideas into something real.

Murray Meadow truly would not be here without his hard work and his support!

We didn’t start this because we dreamed of owning a school. We started it because we wanted something different for our own kids. We wanted them to have a place where they could learn, grow, be known, and actually enjoy being kids. Somewhere along the way, that dream for our family became something we were able to share with so many other families too.

This has been a family project from day one. So while my face may be the one you see most often, please know there is another Murray behind the scenes who has poured just as much of himself into making this place what it is.

I’m so proud of what we built together, and even more grateful that we built it for our kids 💚

🌿Growing Together at Murray Meadow Academy🌿

One of the sweetest parts of our days is watching our little class community continue to grow. 🫶🏼

Our students are learning that school is about so much more than academics—it’s about encouraging one another, lending a helping hand, celebrating each other’s successes, and making sure everyone feels like they belong. We are so proud of the kindness they show each other every single day. 💛

And they are working SO hard! 📚✏️ Whether they’re reading, working through a tricky math problem, creating, exploring, or learning something new, they continue to amaze us with their effort and excitement for learning.

We’re building strong learners, sweet friendships, and a community where everyone can grow together. 🌱✨

🌈 Week 3 at Murray Meadow Academy! 🌈

We had another wonderful week of learning, growing, and making special memories together! 💛

📚 In reading, we read The Rainbow Fish and talked about characters, friendship, and the importance of sharing.

🔢 In math, our students have been working hard on number recognition and building confidence with numbers through lots of practice.

🚒 We also had a special visit from the fire station! Our students learned all about fire safety, what firefighters do, and how to stay safe in an emergency. We are so thankful they took the time to come teach our students!

We are so proud of how hard our students are working each week. Week 3 is in the books! 🌿✨
