🥞💚 Calling all SRE Grandparents & Special Family Members! 💙⭐

We are excited to team up with our friends at Sangaree Intermediate for a Grandparents Breakfast on Saturday, September 12 from 9:00–11:00 a.m. in our shared cafeteria!

Come enjoy breakfast with your favorite Stars and Patriots, then stick around for crafts, board games, and some special time together! ❤️

🥞 Adults: $10
⭐ SRE & SRI Students: FREE
📅 Registration & payment due: September 2

If you have students at both schools, you only need to register and pay at ONE school.

Sangaree families, our Stars will complete their i-Ready Math testing tomorrow and Wednesday, August 25 & 26! ➕📊

⏰ Testing begins at 8:00 AM, so please make sure your child arrives at school on time, rested, and ready to show what they know!

Remind your Star that they don't have to know every answer. We simply want them to take their time, stay focused, and DO THEIR BEST! 💪

🚗🌟 IMPORTANT CAR RIDER UPDATE & CORRECTION 🌟🚗

SRE Families, please review the updated arrival and dismissal maps below. A couple of important updates:

➡️ CORRECTION: Our previous communication contained a typo. NO LEFT TURNS will be permitted when exiting the side car rider loop, just like the front car rider loop. We apologize for any confusion!

➡️ NEW: Families with students at both SRE and SRI may now drop ALL students off at SRE in the morning. SRI students will walk through SRE to the cafeteria, where they may eat breakfast or continue to SRI using the bus loop walkway.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue working to make arrival and dismissal safer and more efficient! 🌟

🍩 DONUT DAY | SEPTEMBER 4
Donuts are just $1 each and will be available from 6:50–7:15 a.m. in the cafeteria! Bring $1 that morning or preorder using the QR code on the flyer. Preorders end September 3.

👕 NEW SRE SPIRIT SHIRTS | $15
Our new SRE Stars shirts are available for preorder in youth AND adult sizes! Scan the QR code on the flyer to order yours by Sunday, September 13.

⭐ WE ARE SRE RENAISSANCE! ⭐

We are excited to introduce our SRE families to Jostens Renaissance and share how it will help us continue building a school culture where EVERYONE SHINES! 🌟

So, what is Renaissance? At its heart, Renaissance is about creating a school where students and staff feel seen, valued, connected, and celebrated. We’ll do that through our Results Formula:

💙 Respect
⭐ Recognize
🎁 Reward
📣 Reinforce
💕 Relationships
= RESULTS!

Throughout the year, our Stars will see this come to life through celebrations, positive recognition, rewards, schoolwide activities, relationship-building, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the great things happening at SRE!

🎨 And we’re adding a little friendly TEAM competition!

Every homeroom has been assigned to one of four teams:

💛 Team Yellow
🧡 Team Orange
💙 Team Blue
🩷 Team Pink

Students will have opportunities to earn recognition and celebrate successes with their teams throughout the year.

📣 Our FIRST SRE Renaissance Rally will be Tuesday, September 8!

Our rallies will be high-energy opportunities to recognize students, celebrate successes, build school spirit, and remind every Star that they are an important part of our SRE community.

We can’t wait for our families to see Renaissance in action this year. At Sangaree Elementary, we want every child to know:
