It's an incredible accomplishment to receive the Sword of Excellence once, but twice? That's really extraordinary. Congratulations, Cobras!
They've done it again! For a second consecutive year, Cane Bay High’s AFJROTC program has seized the Sword of Excellence award by the South Carolina Air Force Association. Every year, the association presents this award to the most outstanding Air Force JROTC unit in the state, recognizing their achievements throughout the school year. Hooray, Cobras!

Ryder is the only student in BCSD to be accepted into the Air Force Academy! Amazing!
“I was through the roof. It had been a goal for so long…it felt like that capstone on top of everything. I’m finally going where I’ve been wanting to go.”
Congratulations to AFJROTC Cadet Ryder Livingston for being appointed to the United States Air Force Academy. He is the first senior to be accepted to the academy in Cane Bay High’s 18-year history. Learn more about Ryder's acceptance to the Air Force Academy at www.bcsdschools.net/article/2877943.
