Grandparents and Grand-Friends Bingo Night

Get ready for an afternoon filled with "Rays of Sunshine," a sweet treat, and lots of fun! We are hosting a Sunshine-Themed Grandparents' Bingo Night, and you are officially invited.

Help us spread the word and invite your grandparents or your honorary grand-friends. Let's make it a bright afternoon to remember! ☀️✨

We are hoping to support our school clinic by replenishing our Salty's Safe Harbor Closet with optional donations of children's socks and underwear. All donations must be brand new and still in the original package. All sizes needed from 4/5 to 16/18. Donations like these help us to ensure all students can quickly clean up after any accidents and return to class. PTA appreciates your support.

We CURDn't be happier with the turnout for our first Culver's Spirit Night of the year! 💜💚🧀

Nothing could have made the night BUTTER(burger) than seeing so many of our Stingray families, staff, and PTA friends come out to eat, visit, laugh, and spend time together. 🍔

Our hearts — and our tables! — were FULL! And of course, no trip to Culver's is complete without a little frozen custard, because our Stingrays always know how to SCOOP up the fun! 🍦

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make tonight such a wonderful success. THIS is what Building CommUNITY looks like! 💜💚

We can't wait to do it again — you BUTTER(burger) believe we'll see you at the next one! 😉

💜💚 PTA surprised our Stingrays today with a couple of very special guests to help celebrate our First Culver's Spirit Night of the 2026-2027 school year. To say the students were excited is an understatement!! 😁😁😁 💚💜

Whether you dine in, carryout, or visit the drive thru, just tell your cashier you're with "Sires" and Sires PTA will receive a portion of the day's sales, so we can pour back into our Stingray CommUNITY. ✨️💜🌊💚🍦

We can't wait to see all our students, families, staff, and community members!! We enjoyed having Scoopie join us today on campus!

✨️How will YOU help our Stingrays shine???✨️

A big 💜THANK YOU💚 to all the Students, Family Members, Faculty, and Staff that helped Dr. Eugene Sires Elementary PTA BUILD our Sunshine bulletin board at Facts & Fees and Meet the Teacher night by filling out a "Ray of Sunshine" and completing the statement "We're Helping Our Stingrays Shine By..."

There were tons of awesome answers: "Be kind." "Smile." "Volunteer." "Make new friends." "Pay Attention." "Read together." and so many other great ideas that will be helping all our Stingrays "Shine Bright" this school year.

Be sure to check out our display on the 4th grade hall and visit us at our upcoming Spirit Nights to fill out your own "Ray of Sunshine" so we can keep BUILDING our Sun and making it Shine even brighter.

Remember you must complete the DD2 Volunteer Application and Dr. Eugene Sires Elementary School 's Volunteer Training before you can volunteer at the school whether you want to help with an event or chaperone a field trip.

Please visit https://www.ddtwo.org/community/engagement-opportunities/volunteers to complete the DD2 Volunteer Application, then join us for in person Volunteer Training on 8/11 at 8:15am or 8/13 at 3:00pm.
