Join us in person for an evening of training, connection, and getting the new PTA year off to a great start! This is a great opportunity to meet other PTA leaders, learn from SCPTA, and get ready for a successful year.

📊 We’ll take care of some important District PTA business during the meeting, including voting on the 2026–2027 District PTA budget. Each local unit should have one representative present to cast their unit’s vote.

💰Paying your district dues by check? Don’t forget to bring your $100 check with you tomorrow. Checks should be made payable to Dorchester/Colleton District PTA.

Attention District PTA Leaders: As we transition into the new school year, it is vital for you to update your 2026–2027 officers in Givebacks!

Completing this quick step ensures your new leadership team has access to critical state & district communications, training resources, and financial management tools.

To update officers in Givebacks, go to Compliance> Update Officers, and be sure to change the year in the corner to 2026-2027! Then you will be able to list your updated officers so they have access right away to emails, resources, and training.

District President Mary-Kate Ward had the opportunity to attend the 2026 SCPTA Legislative Conference at the South Carolina State House on Wednesday, joining advocates from across the state for a meaningful day of learning, connection, and action. Experiences like this strengthen our commitment to ensuring every child’s voice is represented.

Next year we'd love to take a group to represent our District and continue building strong advocates for our students and schools.
