That’s a wrap on Green Wave Wrestling Camp 2026! 💚💛

What an incredible week. It was awesome watching the wrestlers learn new skills, build confidence, and grow their love for the sport of wrestling.

We finished the week with King of the Mat, where two campers absolutely dominated the competition and put an exclamation point on a great week of wrestling!

A huge thank you to our Summerville High School coaches and wrestlers for investing their time and energy into making this camp such a success. We’d also like to thank DuBose Middle School for allowing us to use their facility throughout the week.

Many families have asked, “What’s next?”

The next step is joining the Summerville Takedown Club, our youth wrestling program. While we’ve wrapped up our Freestyle and Greco season and will be taking a short summer break, Folkstyle season kicks off in October and runs through early March. We also host a free Rookie Camp, typically held on Sundays in October, for wrestlers who are new to the sport.

Today wrapped up the Freestyle & Greco season for Summerville Takedown at the SCUSA State Championships in Hartsville. Our wrestlers battled hard all day and represented the club extremely well. 💚💛
