The goal of parenting is not to create a life where our children never struggle.

It is to help them discover they are capable of moving through hard moments.

When we rush in to fix every challenge, we may take away the very experiences that build confidence. Children grow stronger when they have support, guidance, and the opportunity to try.

Acknowledge the hard feeling. Encourage the effort. Let mistakes become lessons.

Resilience is built one small moment at a time, when a child learns, “This is hard, but I can handle it.”
