One of the greatest blessings of Recess has been watching friendships grow week after week.

As Christians, we believe relationships matter because people matter. God created us for community, encouragement, and fellowship.

And some of the sweetest moments happen when children simply have the time and space to be together.

We’re excited to announce our first U-Pick Flower Days of the summer season!

Join us June 10–13 from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and stroll through the flower garden, choosing your favorite blooms to create a bouquet that’s uniquely yours.

Families are welcome! Children may accompany their parents into the garden and, with the help and supervision of an adult, can enjoy selecting and cutting flowers to take home. We hope this is an opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.

Reservations are required to help us manage parking and flower availability. Flowers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At 6 Acre Farm, children can walk the flower rows alongside their parents, discover colors and blooms up close, and help choose flowers to take home.

Sometimes the best memories aren’t made in front of a screen—they’re made with dirt on your shoes, flowers in your hands, and time spent together.

Our first U-Pick Flower Days are June 10–13 from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Flower Spotlight 🌸 Cosmos

At first glance, you might notice a few drooping blooms.

But give them fresh water, and watch what happens.

Cosmos have one of the best vase lives in our garden. They may bow their heads after being picked, but before long they’re standing tall again, opening new blooms and bringing beauty for days.

It’s a gentle reminder that sometimes we need to be refreshed before we can flourish.

“He refreshes my soul.” — Psalm 23:3

Available in shades of white, pink, and deep rose, cosmos are one of the most whimsical flowers growing at 6 Acre Farm this season.
