Math is all around us, and practicing it in real-life situations helps children strengthen problem-solving skills, build number sense, and stay confident with math concepts while school is out. Small opportunities each day can make a big difference when it’s time to return to the classroom in the fall.

Looking for ways to make learning fun at home as a family?

Try these ideas:
🛒 Let children help add up grocery totals or compare prices�🍪 Practice measuring ingredients while cooking or baking together�⏰ Use clocks and schedules to talk about time and elapsed time�🚗 Estimate distances, travel times, or count objects during car rides�🎲 Play board games that involve counting, strategy, or probability�💰 Give children opportunities to count money and make simple purchases
