Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow veterans out there. This year I am going to give 2 free hours of flight instruction to the the first current or former member of the military that signs up for the private, instrument or commercial course with me at CHS Flight School.

This has got to be one of my favorite flights since I became a pilot. I flew my wife, mom and grandmother around the lake cottage that my great grandfather built and that my whole family has spent many weekends over the years. One of the perks of flying is seeing places that have a special place in your heart from a new perspective.
