Wanted to show off the Graduation gift I made for my niece. Jewelry box made from various hardwoods I had around the shop. White Oak, Red Oak, Maple, Walnut and Cherry. The wings can hold up to 20 necklaces and lined with foam to prevent damage. The drawers are also lined with foam. I chose the colors of the foam to match her school colors. Finished with Sutherland Wells tung oil and Walrus Oil Furniture Wax. Glad she enjoyed it

With Easter coming up, here are some of Layered cross designs I created recently. "The Old Rugged Cross" is made from 100+ year old barnwood and the other is a combination of Olivewood and Bloodwood. If anyone in interested in one, let me know. $35 local and $60 shipped. I can also different ones with other species of wood. Price may vary.

First off I want to apologize for the lack up updates the last year. I kind of neglected this page for other platforms. I want to give and update of what I worked on the past year and let you all know I will be making an effort to update this page more frequently in the future. Thank you for your continued support.

First project out of the new shop since moving. Plant caddies to move large plants easily around the patio. The price of ones at the big box stores were expensive and amazon had a long wait time. So with some scrap plywood left behind and some casters. Quickly batched out these two.
This will more than likely be my final post for a few months. As of today my shop is closed and in the process of being packed up till after I move next month to my new home in Charleston, SC. If all goes as plan look for a series of a new dedicated shop space designed exclusively for woodworking later this year.

The same couple who asked me to build the end table top in my last post asked me if I could refurbish there swing. The previous builder did a sub-par job with the finish and created an uncomfortable surface to enjoy. I took it back to the shop, disassembled, sanded down smooth and reapplied a finish. Very happy customers when I was done. Before and After

I had a local gentleman reach out to me on another app looking for someone to create an end table insert that would fit inside of a large ceramic vase. The vase would serve as the base of the table. He was a prior woodworker himself who is now disabled and unable to perform the work. It was definitely a step outside my comfort zone with the needing to create the requested decorative edge profile and some way to secure it in the vase. I was very happy how it turned out, and more importantly so was he and his wife. Table is Red Oak that I stained with the insert made from Baltic Birch
