Maybe it was the cold weather keeping ‘em inside and more practice time, or they have reached the point we’re it all clicks, but my students are really doing well this month! Everyone is INTO IT! Special shout outs to Mason Litteral, who is in the groove with rock and blues rhythm playing, Hayden Wininger, who is quickly absorbing how to play lead guitar (Hint: he memorized scales), Waylon Deaton, who is writing his own songs, Dalton Miller, who is rocking the bass and looking to join a band, Maddie Fleming, who is using the force to play Star wars themes, for both the dark side and the rebellion, CJ Springer, who is rocking Metallica and Nirvana, Kason Brackett, who is coming along with quick, clean chords changes, and Graceanne Stokes, who is now learning guitar after gaining a solid foundation on the bass! Well done everyone!

Say Hello to student Maddie Fleming! Maddie has been taking lessons for several months and is rapidly progressing on the instrument. She is excited and eager to learn and she puts in the time to practice, and it shows! Her bar chords, which are challenging for so many, are clean and precise! Right now we are working on Thunderstruck by AC/DC, more chords, and passing notes between chords. Great job Maddie!

Say Hello to Mason Litteral! Mason started lessons recently and is coming along nicely. He has been learning chords, power chords, and started picking on some AC/DC tunes already! This week he surprised me with how quickly he picked up on playing Amazing Grace. I expect good things from him! Say Hello Mason!

Say Hello to new student Zane McMullin! Zane started lessons recently, has only had a few, and is progressing nicely! He is INTO it and that is what one needs to excel on guitar. Always smiling and eager to learn! Zane has been learning guitar basics, chords, even playing bits of guitar classics Smoke on the Water and Seven Nation Army. I’m excited to see Zane progress! Good Job Zane!

New Student Spotlight!

Say hello to Steven and Dalton Miller, two new students who have been putting the time in and rapidly improving on their instruments! The boys have been learning guitar basics, scales, and songs by groups like Metallica, Black Sabbath, and several rocking Japanese bands. Well done fellas!
