The Executive leadership team met with Building and Grounds team leader, Bob Cline, to sign and finalize the contract for roof repair. Platinum Roofing of Summersville, WV, has the contract to begin the process of coating the roof of Old Main, with material that should last for an extended period after completion. This project was possible through Grants given to Old Main. Our grant writer and Vice President Nancy Thomas, is continually reviewing and evaluating our grant process. Through Community support this “Beacon on the Hill” continues to shine brightly.

The third Fall Feast “Farm to table “ was a total success. The hard work (and I mean hard work) of this amazing group provided our guest with a wonderful meal. As the evening progressed we introduced our Wall of Windows fun raiser, with lots of fun from a table challenge which netted a great time of laughter and money. One of our great student athletes was our auctioneer, raising funds. Door prize tickets were given to window participants for drawing on some great gifts. What a great evening, thank you to the best volunteers, to the Nicholas County High school senior football team for helping serve our guests this evening. We had fun and raised money for our upcoming Window project. The meal was outstanding and I truly don’t think anyone walked away hungry. Thank you to Bill Wise for his help. If you missed this years dinner make plans to attend next year!
