🥇 🧑‍🎓 We would like to extend a congratulations to all of the award winners and to our graduating 8th grade class!

Our class of 2026 was busy yesterday. They had a graduation breakfast, played games, had a picnic lunch, painted the rock, signed yearbooks, and enjoyed their last full day at SCA together. Then last night they officially graduated from SCA.

Our Parent Leadership Team is excited to offer a few positions for next school year! Love SCA and want to help create meaningful experiences for the kids and staff? Join us!

We are looking for:

🔵 Assistant Secretary- This position would attend our monthly virtual meetings. Main responsibility is note taking / recording meeting minutes.

🟢 Staff Appreciation Co-Chair - This position would work with our Staff Appreciation Chair to plan and execute appreciation events for our staff throughout the year. Most notably, helping with Staff Appreciation Week. No meeting attendance necessary.

🟠 Events Committee - Parents willing to help plan and execute events such as Fall Festival, Spirit Nights, and more. Self starters with great ideas wanted! No meeting attendance necessary.

🔵 Fundraising Committee - Assist our Fundraising Chair during our annual “Invest in a Child” Campaign, IIAC Raffle and more!

🏅SCA Athletic News: New Athletic Director

⚽️We had an incredible athletic year as we saw participation grow, skills learned, and a chance to battle for some championships.

🏀To help us continue to grow next year, we will have a new athletic director to lead our program. Dean Maranda Robertson will be leading our effort as athletic director.

⚾️Mrs. Robertson has experience as a coach and teacher and will take the lead in our athletics. I’m excited about what she will bring to help us organize and continue to build the program as we move towards the beginning of our high school.

⛳️We will put her right to work as we are beginning a search for a new boys’ soccer coach for the fall of 2026. If you are interested, contact Mrs. Robertson.

We host our programming at Starmount Country Club and are fortunate to already have several Summerfield Charter Academy families participating.
