Genesis Center Of Marion County We are an after school program designed to help teach life skills to the future generations of America.

We are empowering parents with their children's education so they can get back to the basics & fundamental principles including life skills that will help their children reach their God-given potential and enjoy learning once again We believe that our children desperately need to learn the skills that we learned growing up but because of the changing times they have not had the opportunity to learn. We want to see them become productive members of society.

What a fun week we have had! Our kids had an introduction into automotive skills, learning how to diagnose and fix a broken riding lawnmower. We also planted in our garden; made scalloped potatoes and cowboy caviar; are working on an incredible paintings that we'll share next week; and are wrapping up our stop motion filming projects. All of this as well as we celebrated another birthday with friends! If your child/teen is looking for community and hands on learning opportunities, please reach out! We love to chat.

Our students didn't just learn about building — they built. From measuring and cutting to painting and finishing, our K–12 students turned raw materials into a finished co****le set (and their own hand-sewn bean bags!) from scratch. That's what life skills education looks like at Genesis Center. 🔨🎨

What makes Genesis Center different? We're small on purpose. Every student is known, every family is supported, and every day starts with prayer and ends with something real to show for it. Come see what a Christ-centered homeschool community can look like. 🙏
